PARTICIPANT APPLICATION

    TEFAF New York LLC ("TEFAF New York") conducts art fairs twice every year at the Park Avenue Armory (the "Armory") located at 643 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10065. This application form (the "Application") is for the TEFAF New York Fall 2018 Fair (the "Fair"). Pending finalization of the build schedule, the VIP opening will take place on either Thursday, October 25 or Friday, October 26, 2018. Accordingly, the Fair will run either from October 26-30, 2018 or October 27-31, 2018. The Fair will focus mainly on Fine and Decorative Art from antiquity to 1920. The selection committee of TEFAF New York (the "Selection Committee") will curate a list of Exhibitors to showcase the most vibrant and high quality fair of its kind in North America.

    Please complete and submit this Application online to TEFAF New York before the Application deadline of February 23, 2018. Late, incomplete, or insufficiently documented Applications may not be taken into consideration for admission to the Fair. There is a non-refundable application fee of USD $350.

    Once an applicant (the "Applicant") is admitted into the Fair, the Applicant will be sent participation documents which include a Participation Contract. An Applicant will be required to sign and return the Participation Contract to TEFAF New York, as well as the initial deposit, before a specified due date for the Participation Contract to be valid.

    This Application is for TEFAF New York Fall 2018 only. The application process for TEFAF New York Spring 2018 is now closed. All Applicants, whether accepted into TEFAF New York Fall 2018 or not, wishing to participate in TEFAF Maastricht 2019 or TEFAF New York Spring 2019 will need to apply separately.

    IMPORTANT NOTE ON SALES TAX REGISTRATION: If accepted into TEFAF New York Fall 2018, the Applicant will be required to register with the New York State Tax Department and obtain a Certificate of Authority. Before commencement of the Fair, the Applicant must show proof of registration by either submitting a copy of a Certificate of Authority to TEFAF Management, or by providing the Sales Tax Vendor identification number.

    H. STAND SIZE

    Due to space constraints relating to exhibiting in a mid-town Manhattan location such as the Park Avenue Armory, standard stand sizes in the main Drill Hall of the Armory are generally smaller than those at TEFAF Maastricht.

    Drill Hall Booths:

    Drill Hall stand sizes vary, but are on average a size of 35 square meters. There is limited opportunity for larger stands outside the Drill Hall in the Historic Rooms of the Armory.

    Approximate size for a Historic Room is 47 sqm. Exhibitors in Historic Rooms are required to abide by the Park Avenue Armory's room regulations, as outlined in Exhibit D: Historic Room Use & Maintenance Regulations.

    II. PARTICIPATION COSTS

    In addition to the non-refundable application fee of USD $350, the cost to participate in TEFAF New York Fall 2018 consists of General Costs and Stand Rental Costs. All prices are in US Dollars and non-refundable:

    A. General Costs:US $7,500
    B. Drill Hall Stand Rental Cost:US $1,500* per square meter
    C. Historic Room Rental Cost:Set cost per room (range from $40,000 to $84,200)

    *The current booth rental fee of US $1,500 per sqm is a true reflection of the actual expense required to build a world class fair in midtown Manhattan.

    Within 15 Days of the Date of Final Invoice: Payment of Third Invoice (additional costs incurred during the Fair which include additional invitations, extra catalogues ordered, etc.)

    By submitting the Application, the Applicant confirms that he/she has read and agrees to the conditions as set out in the Terms and Conditions of Application, the General Terms and Conditions of Vetting and Participation and the Vetting Guidelines. Furthermore, the Applicant confirms that the information provided in this Application and attachments is true and correct. The Applicant agrees to inform TEFAF New York immediately of any change in the information provided in this Application and attachments and of any other information that may affect the assessment of admission of the Applicant by TEFAF New York.
